RAISING DAUGHTERS is a country folk music duo featuring Josette Axne and Hallie Riddick. They started their partnership in 2020 and released their first album, GET HOME L.P., in October 2021. Described as a combination of Alison Krauss, The Staves and Indigo Girls, Hal and Jo make music to commemorate their coming of age and write the gap between past and present. Based in NYC, the Kentucky and Colorado natives bring together the sounds of bluegrass, folk, country, chick rock, indie, and pop.

GET HOME Is Raising Daughter’s first work together. Written off the coast of Connecticut, the KY and CO natives dig for what it means to be home and not to spoil the ending, they never find the answer. Hallie and Jo wrote these songs for you to scream in the car, wherever you might be going.
